The Situation:
4sight was tasked with designing a state-of-the-art data center for one of the largest fertilizer companies in Pakistan. This project required close collaboration with multi-story building architects and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) consultants to ensure the provision of adequate capacities and spaces for critical systems. The goal was to meet the data center’s concurrent maintainability, TIA-942 Rated-3 conformity, efficiency, reliability, and scalability requirements.
The Challenge: The project presented several challenges. First, 4sight needed to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure the data center design aligned with the building’s architecture, interior, and safety requirements. Second, they had to optimize the fit-out cost while accommodating the modular and scalable needs of the customer. Lastly, aggressive timelines added pressure to deliver a comprehensive and well-coordinated design within a tight schedule.
